Use the latest version of your player
Try a different player (Ogle and VLC at the mode reliable in my experience)
Buy a faster CPU

well, what player are you using? asking questions like 'why doesn't my car work' are pretty useless... you might have problems such as interlace coruption, or such, like i've had in the past, but i'd guess it's hardware personally

Hi !!!

I think that blucadet bluecadet is right about the hardware specs, even thou i have a P3 933 and 512 RAM my dvd still gets frozen when playing (and then continue) on microsucks winblows, on linux it happens but it's not too often.

Sorry...

I've tried Ogle and VideoLAN.

I have a 1ghz athlon with 768mb of ram so I dont think thats a problem..

I have the latest versions of both programs and am having a little trouble getting xine to work (im working on it though).
