dual video cards question

I have 2 video cards, an ati rage 3d (pci), and diamond speedstar24 vga card (ISA) will these 2 work togeather well? I tried and had some success, the X windows worked on one and the virtual consoles on another, i looked in my /etc/X11/XF86Config file, and found nothing about Xinema, i'm running RH 7.2, and currently don't have all the source code installed, will I need the source code for this? Can it be done? If so, how, thanks in advance. :smash:
