Dual Monitors on one vid card?

I have an MSI GeForce4 MX440. It is a dual head card. Can I run both monitors under Xwin? I did a standard Mandrake install and everything works fine, but one monitor is left unused. How do I allow for dual monitor usage?

I have GeForce 2 hualhead and have two Flatscreens hooked up and working in Linux, only in X tho, in console only one can work, or you can have both working in "stereo" being mirrors of each other but thats useless.
So you want both monitors in X? OK, it's not very difficult, maybe an hour of work.
First thing download NVidia drivers and install them, make sure they work and configure your monitor. Then go over to NVIDIA again and read the big README file they have about Linux drivers, pay extra attention o twinView, i think its in one of the appendices.
Then head over to www.geocities.com/nskl86/XF-TwinView.txt and look through my XFConfig file for TwinView. Then eaither copy and modify my file, or edit your own to look like it.
NOTE: I had to speify NvAgp option in "Device" section, or else my system freezes, you might not need this line:
Option "NvAgp" "0"
It.s under the Nvidia device section.
Ok, i think thats all, good luck and ask if you have problems.

redhat 8 installation hangs on cd2

i bought an official redhat 8 bundle but when i try to install it, when i comes to change to cd2, after i press it will hang.

actually it will continue to read from cd but nothing happens to the progress bar anymore but i can move my mouse though...

i left it for 6 HOURS but after that very long time... the process bar didnt move but the computer still continues to read from the cd.

i tried and tried the following four days, still i left it for six hours (coz im going to school) but still the same results... i tried different cd roms, but still the same.

what do i do with this now?
