Dual head

I am trying to get dual head working on my single 6800. i dont know much about vesa and i would like to get both screen running under that because i trying upgrading to the nvidia graphics driver and had nothing but trouble. I can find all the dual head dual card tutorials i wanted but i couldn't find any dual head single card works that anyone had any working responces to.

you actively want to run a dual head nvidia card under the vesa driver? you might as well just draw a picture of a screen in crayon the performance you'd get from it....

don't use vesa, that's pointless. use the nvidia driver, install it. use it as a single head for at least 2.5 seconds then check the Xinerama howto for info on how to make it a dual head serverlayout.

as far as using the single card, i've been doing it for years now, and it's no different at all to seperate cards other than using a "Screen 0" or "Screen 1" option in the otherwise identical device sections.
