Dual boot Win/Lin but with Linux first...
Ok I've done dual-booty plenty of times before (if ya know what I mean). Anyway, this time I figured I'd just use Linux and decided to take Windows completely off so I formatted the entire drive as ReiserFS and a Swap. But now I'm thinkin' that I wanna' put WinXP back on and dual-boot again but I'm afraid the MBR will be rewritten and I'll lose my Linux OS because I know how Microsoft likes to dominate everything in the computer industry.
I'm sure it is possible though but what will I have to do? Make a boot disk? Somethin' like that?

Re-installing Windows will rewrite the MBR and wipe lilo/grub, but you just use your Suse cd afterwards to re-install lilo/grub. I don't know what the exact procedure is with Suse, but there's generally a Rescue-Reinstall Bootloader option, or something similar

With SuSE, when you boot from cd, you boot into a kernel image on the cd, not the one installed on HD. Make a boot floppy for SuSE (test it to make certain it works) before you install winxp. After you install xp, insert the floppy and reboot. Once in SuSE, go into KDE Control Center, click on YaST2 modules, System, Boot loader conf. When prompted, give the root password. When the conf dialogue comes up, there are instructions to follow to reconfigure your bootloader.
