I cant seem to get my network or soundcard to be reconized in my linux slackware 7.1 system. What command do i use to install my drivers, my network card is a kingston DEC chipset. (tulip??) and my soundcard is a sound blaster live.

You nic if it uses the tulip driver, that should be recognized, as I have gotten a Linksys card working with ease in Slackware with no problems and it uses the tulip driver.
What have you done so far on each? Like troubleshoting wise.

I was wondering the command to install modules.....and where i can find modules....but thanks for the reply.

insmod inserts modules, modprobe looks for them.
