Drivers for 9600

Hi.
I'm pretty new to linux.
I downloaded the latest drivers for the ATI Radeon 9600se.
A friend told me to use the X.org file.
Then when i was trying to install the drivers this fault came upp:
Installation failed:
file /usr/X11R6/lib/libGL.so.1.2 from install of fglrx_6_8_0-8.8.25-1 conflicts with file from package libxorg-x11-6.7.0-3mdk

Can someone help me so I can use my grafiks card?

If you read the driver installation directions it tells you that sometimes you will have to do it like this : rpm -Uh --force fglrx<version>

In the consol?
As I said I'm new to linux.

yes you will need to put that in the console. make sure that you su to root first

You need to run the command in a terminal with the --force switch added.

Open a terminal
su and enter your root password
rpm -Uh --force nameofatidriver
