Downloading from the command line

OK, I'm writting a script that will download all the images from a given website. If gotten as far as getting a list of all the images using Lynx, grep and cut.

But, I down know how to download a files from the command line if it's not a ftp site. is it posible and if so how?

Thanks for your time.

The command for this is "wget". You don't need to run seperate lynx, grep, cut type of stuff either. wget has the capability to track down and follow links on it's own. Run "man wget".
