Does the ATI Radeon VE 32meg work with mandrake anyone know??

This card is supported in XFree86 v4.02. I don't think the current release of Mandrake (7.2?) has XFree86 v4.02. Mandrake v8.0 might. In any event, you can always install Linux without installing the XFree86 packages (and of course anything that requires them will have to be left out too). Then you could install the latest version of XFree86 and whatever Xapps after that.
