Does Slack10.0 recognize GeForce FX5700? And a q about Nvidia drvs and a video card

Seems that I'll get it soon, I use GeForce 4 MX-440 now. So I'd like to know if I succeed with the new video card? And should I download Nvidia drvs if all seems to work (with 4 MX)? And maybe you can advise some better video card within $155? And what's PCI-Express? All suggestions are appreciated. Thanks.

Yep, should be no problem - an Nvidia card is an Nvidia card. Make sure you get the latest Nvidia driver and go for it.

You could consider waiting a few months and getting the Open Graphics Project card, of course. . .
