Documentation location in kde apps

I am writing some documentation for a Kde application, however I am having problems getting the make, make install stage to create the html files.

Do I need to create the html pages first and then put them in the source folder? If so what directory do I put them into?

Do I need to put the index.docbook file in? If so what directory does it go into?

I tried converting the docbook into html then manually putting them in /doc directory of the app, but when I make install, it still does not find the documentation.

Is there some special procedure that needs to be carried out to put the documentation in the kde application?

Michael.
