do i need math-emu?

ok, i downloaded the source for 2.6.0-test9 kernel and i'm now questioning something that i left in on all my other kernels even though i didn't think i needed it, do i need math coprocessor emulation? i know what a coprocessor is (was) and i think that there's one integrated in my Pentium 4, but i just want to be sure before i take it out that i don't need it. i'm fairly certain that i don't need it, but i just wanted to make confirmation. thanks.

"do i need math coprocessor emulation?"

No. This is just legacy code.
