DNS Problem PLEASE HELP!!!!!
 

When I try to restart my names file I get the following error:


[root@coyote etc]# /etc/rc.d/init.d/named restart
Stopping named: rndc: Couldn't find server 'localhost': Name or service not known
[FAILED]
Starting named: [FAILED]


Please Help!!!

What is the consequence of start named?
Does it formats the DNS on your host?
Seems even the localhost reference ar lost
Look at /etc/hosts to see if all is correct
