DNS on PPP

I am unable to supply DNS to dialup clients.

I have /etc/mgetty+sendfax/login.config file with

/AutoPPP/ - a_ppp /usr/sbin/pppd auth -chap +pap login debug

and /etc/pppdialin.conf like this

[base]
.defppp.ppp233 1
.defppp.proxyarp 1
.defppp.dns 24.18.24.15
.defppp.dns2 24.18.24.17
fishdog.dns 24.18.24.15
fishdog.dns2 24.18.24.15
fishdog.ourip 10.0.0.99
fishdog.delivermail HOME

/etc/ppp/options.ttyS0 file with this line

10.0.0.1:10.0.0.100

It is not using the /etc/pppdialin.conf file.

when fishdog logs in the ip address is still 10.0.0.100 and without the options.ttyS0 file the ip will not be sent.

Here it is!

[root@alpha /root]# cat /etc/ppp/options
lock
-detach
modem
crtscts
proxyarp
asyncmap 0
domain HOME
ms-dns 24.18.24.15
ms-dns 24.18.24.17
ms-wins 10.0.0.1
netmask 255.255.255.0
10.0.0.1:10.0.0.100

for linux clients you will still need to set the DNS manually

If this has been implemented for linux ppp please post here.
