dmesg error on boot

I've got a question that I've yet to find the answer on by searching the web.

When you have a error that happens for example:

Code:
FATEL: Module ide_scsi not found.
This happens during the boot process as all the info run across the screen.

But when I check dmesg or /var/log/messages I can't seen to find this message again.

I've been playing with kernel options and config's on the 2.6.21.3 kernel.

So, why does it show when you boot and not logged in the files that are suppose to capture errors.

Does this mean that it's not a error at all it's just something silly and how do I go about checking it.

Thanks.

Its nothing to worry about, it could be that it is compiled directly into the kernel or just not needed. The boot process is over my head in some parts;

Boy, I feel stupid on this one...
I was upgrading to Slackware-current when this happened today only to find out that when I removed the hotplug package it did not remove the rc.hotplug script. So anyway I changed the permissions and the error is gone so I guess it was calling it twice because I activated udev earlier. Anyway all looks good with slackware and Hal is great. Nice to see my favorite distro getting the friendly-user stuff.
