Question distro that looks like OSX but is minimal

I like the look of OSX but would not need all the apps that come with it. Any ideas?

Almost any distro will do but if you are a real newbie, I'd suggest kubuntu for a start.
Install it, then go over to and start trying some different themes, icon sets and whatever until you get a look you like.

Kubuntu is faaaaaaaaaaantastic.

It's good as well if you don't need a lot of apps, since the base install is off one CD and is fairly basic as far as things installed by default. Of course if you need more, there are 19,000 packages in the online repositories.

Assuming you have an x86 computer and something other than a dial-up connection, Dreamlinux would probably be ideal for you; it takes up under 400 MB on a CD and by default uses an XFCE theme set up to look rather like OSX.
