Display problem
 

I didn't know if this was a hardware or software issue so i put it in here.

I just installed mandrake 9.1 on a new computer. It has a FIC AT31 Mobo with onboard ATI Radeon video. The display to the screen seems rather crappy. Things are very hard to read. Its not that its to small its just blurry and hard to read. I notice some flashing of the display at various times. I am assuming it has something to do with the refresh rate. But i don't know for sure or where to change it. Any advice? TIA

PS during install display was terrific

the program to change the xconfig file is xf86config - run it as root. backup your /etc/X11/XF86Config-4 file first
