Disk Space Indicator in a Gnome Panel?

Hi, just a quick enquiry - is there any piece of software that will sit in one of my panels in Gnome and tell me my free disk space? I see theres a program called KDF which does similar on KDE, but Im guessing thats not compatible with Gnome... Done a few searches but cant see to find anything - Im sure there must be something out there cos it cant be too complex - anyone help ?

Well, I'm not sure if this is applied to all Distros. I'm using RedHat 7.3 here and on Gnome, go into "programs >> system >> system info". In the screen which opens, indeed, you will get all infos about your system. Click in the button where it reads ""Detailed Information". That should bring your hard drive and it's informations.
If it worked or not, let me know and please, also which distro you are using so I can also learn a bit.

Good Luck

Yes I can get that info (Using the system monitor youre talking about) - however, Id like some kind of real time updating applet that I can put in a panel - just like Ive got a realtime network speed monitor using the NetSpeed Applet, if you see what I mean?

Thanks for the reply. Yeah, now I could understand the kind of program you are looking for :) Unfortunately, I don't know any program like that for gnome :(. I've not used KDF myself, but sound entresting and useful. Hope someone will help you here. I want that program too :)
