disk quota on mysql

Hello all.

I run a virtual host with about 20 members. I can set disk quota correctly in /home. But how can I set individual user's mysql database quota with mysql data stuff placed in /var/mysql. The owner of the files in /var/mysql is mysql and mysqld_safe is run by mysql.

You can't put quota's on a mysql database using the filesystem. AFAIK you can't set a quota on a mysql database. The only thing you could do is drop the privilege for inserting - which wouldn't be a good idea.

I haven't checked the MySQL 4.x privilege system by now, but maybe you can do quota stuff there ... I doubt that though!
