Disk Images
I am running a PC as dual-boot Win '98 and SuSE 7.1 Linux. The main hard drive is 20GB of which 12000MB is my Linux partition. I have used about 2.5GB of my Linux partition (OS and a few apps).
I wish to make an image of the Linux partition onto CD(s) so that I can then copy this image onto other PCs, creating a number of machines that are all identical in terms of set-up.
How do I go about this?
I have used xcdroast to burn CDs before but never done a full image or scanned multiple disks. Is xcdroast the best tool to use or not? If not, is there something better included in the SuSE 7.1 distribution?
And will I only need to image the filled 2.5GB or am I going to have to image the whole partition?
Any help will be much appreciated
