This I get for a cd I've used before several times, so it can't be that the ISO was corrupted at the burning.

My own "solution" to the problem was burning a new cd. I guess there was a scratch on the disc.

I got the same error yesterday with a knoppix live cd, the problem is the hard drive that I had plugged in, it doesnt work and I was trying to recover the files from it but that error always comes up when I boot the live cd whith the bad hd plugged in. So I havent been able to recover the files, still trying other programs though.
