I'm trying to remove processes that I don't need for privacy and to speed things up and reduce RAM use.
I've removed most startup applications but zeitgeist still keeps appearing as well as variuous "geo" processes and an "evolution" process. I've checked and I don't need these but they keep appearing even after doing apt-get remove from this thread:
I can't post there so I'm asking here. After doing what I've done so far my computer runs much faster! I still need to get rid of these pesky spywares however.
You two are the rude idiots who replied to a post and had the arrogance to try to tell me I was wrong to ask the question... Who are you to tell me what to do???? I was hoping for someone who knew something that I didn't know. Not a couple wannabees trying to boost your ego and forum posts count to win a Cub Scout badge. Screw you both and quit trolling people's posts, either stick to the topic or just go away... and yes you are idiots.
