directory permission

Hi all...

I need to make a public share under a user directory, and need to everyone have access to this folder, but the files that someone write in that directory need to be owned by the user that the directory belong.

for example:

the samba share will be directory:

/home/peter/share

and all files that will be written to that folder need to be mask 777 from the user peter...

how can I do that???

thx...

You could use the chmod command

However if you want to change recursively the permissions of file inside directory use the option -R in chmod command.

Good Luck
