Digital output on Redhat 8.0
All I want to know is how to turn your sound output from analog to digital on Redhat 8.0 my sound crad is a "Sound Blaster Live!" and I have a set of Boston digital ba735 digital-only speakers. And as we all know a OS just isn't an OS without sound.

Thank You Very Much,

Oh and.
1:Yes I have tested my analog with a pair of headphones.
2:here is my modules.conf... I don't really know what it does, but some people have been talking about it and digital output LOL sorry I'm a linux newb. Just trying to get away from windows.

Have you tried ALSA out?

If you check out, (cool place for RH btw),

under Docs it shows how to install the rpms
under Packages it will have the rpms

I have an Audigy but havent tried Digital Out. I get 5.1 16bit analog though
