Digital modem - USB port ????
 

I bought a Linksys digital cable modem. Works just fine in W98. RH7.2 recognizes the modem at the USB port - but it does not work.

Do I have to run it through an ethernet card for it to work in Linux? ..... or do I just need to wait until someone writes a driver?

I did a lot of searching on the net for help with this --- without much luck.

"/proc/bus/usb/devices" does show my modem
