Unhappy Dial Up HELP


Hey guys Iam useing RedHat 7.2 Iam haveing trubble getting online with dial up I know how to get online with DSL and Cable
but now I dont have DSL or Cable and Iam now on dial up I done everything to get on line and I just sit their and wate I done everything... anyone had this problem

YES now that I have read some stuff on the kppp
I get "modem is busy"

Iam useing the kppp now I started over but I do get that message "modem is busy" I deleteed all my other configure's
and started over I havent booted to linux yet but will see soon

"Modem busy" is a standard error with Winmodems. Could you post brand and model?

ok its a diamond supra max 56k

There's a problm. After browsing Diamond's website http://www.diamondmm.com/support/ I can't find Linux drivers. I can't find them also there : http://www.linmodems.org .It may be thet there's no Linux driver for your winmodem.

nope thier is no drivers for my winduh modem ((
