dhcp restart error

Hey guys,
After I changed the dhcpd.conf
subnet netmask {
default-lease-time 86400;
max-lease-time 86400;
option routers;
option ip-forwarding off;
option broadcast-address;
option subnet-mask;
option domain-name-servers;
option domain-name-servers,,,
option netbios-name-servers;
option netbios-dd-server;
option netbios-node-type 8;
option netbios-scope "";
When I tried dhcpd restart.
It prompted out the follwoing error:
Listening on Socket/eth1/
Sending on Socket/eth1/
No subnet declaration for eth0 (
Please write a subnet declaration in your dhcpd.conf file for the
network segment to which interface eth0 is attached.
exiting. Any idea guys

Thank you

It looks like you started dhcpd with:

dhcpd -cf /home/bob/dhdpd.conf

By default dhcpd will try to broadcast on every ethernet device... supply the eth device as an argument and it will only use that one. For instance:

dhcpd eth1 -cf /etc/dhdpd.conf

Or, on second thought... it might not like two declarations of option nameservers and you may have to put the in with the other comma delineated list.
