DEVEDE fails to create DIVX

Hi,
I am trying to create a Divx disc with Devede.
After adding the files when I click forward nothing happens.

I stared Devede from the cli and it is stuck at

Have you tried using DevedeNG?

Thanks for your reply but frankly I dont want to install anything outside of the official repos.

BTW I have successfully converted the files with Winff.
