Question Deploying Linux builds

I have been running a couple of Linux boxes for a few months now and am quite impressed. I am trying to move from proprietary UNIX (HP-UX) to Linux. One of the features of HP-UX that I am struggling to find in Linux is the ability to copy a template of an installed system and then deploy it on other computers. HP-UX provides this functionality with Ignite-UX. Is there a (general) Linux equivalent of Ignite-UX or do any specific distros provide anything?

Redhat uses Kickstart... but we're experimenting with a project and program called SystemImager, http://www.systemimager.org/
