dependencies
Hi,
The hard work of installing or upgrading a software is library dependencies. How can I know which library is in which package? I use rpm to install and upgrade the package but I really encounter much problems with library dependencies that Linux is using. Any guideline for me about this. Thanks, Stand |
I think it was the KDE package manager I used to use to view package info like dependicies and file locations in not yet installed packages.
If you are working backwards from error codes, google works for finding dependency errors that are not the actual package name. Good Luck |
if it says it need libblah.so.2 just go to rpmfind.net and search for the file.
