deleted RH7.2 Partions = lock out of a dual boot!

I have been trying to get my Nvidia drivers installed for about a week now. i have tried *.tar and *.rpm both get me to the same point. NO LOGIN SCREEN but flickering. DavidPhillips has been a VERY LARGE help. it is just that me being a NOOB and all i do not understand everything he tells me. to me it was just as easy for me to reinstall RH becuz the only thing i had done was try and install the drivers. anyways i put my install disk in to try and reinstall RH but kept bringing me to my boot screen. so i decided to deltee my partions of linux with my WIN XP install cd. be cuz i can not find a FDISK that will allow me to do FDISK /MBR. now when i boot up my computer i get a command promt that says

grub>

my boot disk do not work ( linux or XP ) and i can not boot from a cd.

can ne one help me?

I am assuming you have internet access and have a spare floppy disk. Here is a link to a bootable floppy image and I am pretty sure it has fdisk on it.

disk image

Hope that works for you

yeah i screwed up the link and had to reset it

fdisk is fdisk. this just happens to be one for a win95 machine but it will work fine for what you are trying to do. I have used it many times for stuff like this.

I have never had that problem with fdisk but have had it with the format command and that was b/c I was trying to use a version of format that didn't correspond to the command.com
