Delete emails from "ALL MAIL" in gmail with Offlineimap?

Hi,

A question, I have into my config:

Code:

realdelete = yes
however, when you delete the email, if I check my account the email is not deleted forever, but stored into the directory ALL MAIL.

How to really delete forever the email?

thanks

From this thread, perhaps try setting 'realdelete' to 'True' instead of 'yes' (see the section of the config file in the first post).

The best it will do is move the email into the "Trash" folder, anyway.

That is correct. I believe you can get courier-imap set up to delete your server Trash periodically, but I have never used it.
