define hot keys fedora

Is there a way to define hot keys in fedora? I would like to have a hot key to bring up the terminal. There is probably already one defined and I just don't know what it is, huh? In any case I would still like to know how this can be done.

Thx

To create new hot-keys:
1/ Right Click on the redhat-menu icon, launch the menu editor where you have the possibility to add a shortcut to every item listed in the menu
2/ Alternatively, you open your control panel (KDE: kcontrol), select Regional & Accessibility where you can either use KHotKeys or keyboard shortcuts. The latter are general shortcuts (open, closing windows, etc), the former are netter suited for you I guess.

enjoy,
Patrick
