Debian, Sarge

I am currently running the testing version of Debian.

When the stable version of Sarge comes out, will I be able to upgrade to it from my testing release without it screwing up all my settings?

As well, when that happens, how do I get apt-get to grab packages from stable instead of testing?

The easiest way to keep running Sarge when it comes out is to change the instances of testing to sarge in your /etc/apt/sources.list then apt-get update to refresh the package cache and all your packages will come from sarge now and in the future when sarge becomes the new stable. The stable, testing and unstable names are just symbolic links that at the present time point to woody, sarge and sid so by using sarge instead of testing when it becomes the new stable you will not have to change a thing to keep running it everything will continue to work as it does now.
