Debian is boring, want new distro

Hi, I've been using debian and debian-based distributions for a while and have found them rather boring to use. Could anyone recommend to me a distro that does not require as much work as gentoo to install and maintain but not as boring as debian is to maintain?

Go to www.distrowatch.com

Search there for something more exciting.

You should try the new Gentoo 2006.0 it will install via GUI but would not say it is easy.

Gentoo 2006.0

I've always heard that 'perfection is boring' ... I think that's only true for young folks. lol. "May you live in interesting times."

If you actually wanted to use a distro to do productive work, Debian is far from boring. However, I can understand that since it's near perfect, it can be boring for the tinkerer and the experimenter.

Try Slackware.

Amen Harishanker, I was thinking the same thing!

Slackware!

Another angle on this: Sometimes, the cure for boredom is.....hard work.

Why not tackle LFS? From what I read, you would not be bored for a very long time....;)
