Debian Ethernet Card Configuration
 

Can someone tell me how to configure my ethernet card on my debian box? plz. I don't know how.

hm....if I remember correctly, you can set it up at first boot time. The script is base-config, so just type "base-config" as root. [actually, it might be when you original install, I can't remember]. Failing that, the way you're meant to do it is with the ifconfig command, so just man ifconfig that. you'll want to put the settings in /etc/network/interfaces. and I'm sure you can get some fancy gui if you're completely stuck.
