DBUS session on a read-only filesystem

I'm trying to use DBUS to make two programs communicate with each other.

Everything works perfectly on my computer, but when I try it on the hardware it is supposed to run on, some problems come. Actually, dbus-monitor doesn't work for the session bus (but works for the system bus) and fails with this error :
Failed to open connection to session bus: Failed to connect to socket /tmp/dbus-BFeo9CVcs1: Connection refused
Why I'm sure that it is a RO/RW problem is because when I switch the system to RW mode, it works perfectly.
I've been trying to see what file DBUS was trying to change but it is only reading files and connecting to a socket located in /tmp (which is mounted as RW).

Does someone have an idea ?

Thanks !

I finally found a way to solve this problem.

Actually, DBUS session bus needs to write into ~/.dbus (because it is a session bus). So a way to make the session bus work on a RO filesystem is to link this ~/.dbus folder to another folder in a RW filesystem. It's not a perfect solution, but I guess it can help.
