database security on linux server


i have already tried on google, but i am unable to find the right link, actually i want to something about , how to maintain a database(mysql,oracle) on linux server(including installation, management, security).plz tell me the right url.

Your Linux distribution will include packages for MySQL that you can install with the supplied software management tools, and the documentation on the MySQL Web site covers management and security. Presumably Oracle has material on the Oracle Technology Network Web site, as well as downloads.
