Exclamation Data Recovery HELP!!!!!!!


I have just lost access to some critical files on one of my desktops and i need to get it back ASAP. Can someone please help me, as i formated the hard drive without a backup handy...i no u can say it, and i'll reply with "OOOOPPS"
This is very urgent and i dont care how technical it has to get, but i need this information back ASAP

Well that was a silly thing to do :P

The problem has come up here several times before ,and everytime it is reccomended that you DO NOT write anything further to that disk, as it seriously reduces the chance of recovery. Do a forum search and you'll come across a lot of information, tips and suggestions to try, including some proprietry type solutons.

There are also commercial apps available; just go to www.google.com/linux, and search "data recovery" to find out more.
