Apologies if this as been answered before - I have been searching for some time, but no-one seems to have had this problem in the same way.

I have backed up just under 4Gbyte of (ahem) audio media files onto a data DVD+RW using K3B under Mandrake 10.0

- When loaded back into the original machine, only 20 files show up in the file list. No error messages are given.

- When loaded into a Windows XP machine (or stand alone DVD player), all the files show up and are accessible.

- When loaded into another Mandrake 10.0 box, I can't mount the disc. (This gives a bad superblock message, so I guess this is something to do with filesystems/Supermount /Magicdev/fstab etc. - I have found a few threads on this, and I'm hoping to be able to progress this one!)

I have been burning & playing video DVDs quite happily, but I was hoping to use the DVD drive as a backup device. Any help would be very gratefully received.
