Cursor Keys in Grub2 have stopped scrolling
Good evening
I have 9.04, 10.04, 12.04 and Windows XP installed on my PC. I have three hard drives. 9.04, 10.04 and Windows XP are installed on the one drive and 12.04 on the other. Both drives have a grub2 menu. The third drive is a data drive. When I switched on my PC this evening I received an error messages advising me to reset my BIOS which I did. Since then the up and down cursor keys no longer work in
either of the two grub menus. I cannot scroll down to boot into Windows XP. I use
MSOutlook for my emails. I also do office work in Windows.
It was working yesterday. Does anybody have an idea what could have happened and
how do I fix this? Today I purchased issue 16 of the 'Ubuntu User' magazine. It is
a live cd which has the following 12.10 32 bit and 64 bit distros
Ubuntu
Kubuntu
Xubuntu
Mythbuntu
Linux Mint 14 KDE
I currently have the 32 bit versions of 10.04 and 12.04 installed on hard drives. I spent the evening trying out each of the 64 bit distros. The Mythbuntu was the
last one I looked at, and when I exited it i received a long list of errors. I do not know if this is what caused my issue.
I will appreciate any advice and assistance that anyone can give me.
Regards
Philip
