currupt filesystem and genome panel


i have installed red hat linux 7.2 from cd available with book. it has been installed on a seperate partition than for win 98.
my problem is that

1. as linux boots it reads a messege
WARNING:FAT32 SUPPORT IS STILL ALPHA
while checking the filesystem. and after this warning booting stops...but after pressing ctrl+c booting continues normally..

2.when i start the gnome session its panel crashes

3. my vista scroll mouse does not work.

my hard ware configuration is P-celeron 566mhz processor,64mb ram,20gb hdd with LG 14' monitor.

can sombody give me the solution
