CUPS doesn't print

Hello People!

I need to configure a printer minolta konica 2430DL in my printserver.
My printserver is a Linux Debian Sarge 3.1 running CUPS.

I configured with IPP. ipp://ip_print/631, but the print job stays with the message: "processing since", after that I cancel the job, Stay a status: "Conecting to 192.168.1.42 port 631 and the printer doesn't print anything!

Could anything helps me?

Thanks.

Hi,

Just to be sure there is nothing hiding, you could use the command:
lprm -

You also might want to restart cups.

But it's more likely being blocked by iptables. You could try it with iptables off on a real temp basis.
I forgot what port that is off hand.

That would be unusual for Linux. Try the command:
Code:
su - -c "iptables -L"

Are you able to ping the printer?
Can you print to it from other machines or even a Linux livecd?

I obtain to print in others workstations because it is install in a windows server too, but I want to migrate to the Linux, others workstations in linux with cups doesn't obtain to print it.

My CUPS version is 1.1

Do you thing that I should do update in my CUPS, I think that this is last alternative.
