I run a Biostar PV7050 motherboard with Hardy Heron. I have a Sony 30" CRT (HDMI) hooked up for movies and a Benq LCD (VGA) for normal computing. The problem I have is that when I run mplayer -fs, the image is bigger than my TV thus cutting off some of the picture, on the sides usually if the movie is letterboxed but on the top and bottom if it is pillar boxed. I believe this is an issue with my TV mostly. I could either fix this with X somehow, or I could just have mplayer scale the video down and border it, which would be easier. Suggestions on either method would be greatly appreciated.
