crontab problems


hai all

i wants to run a program every 2.30 hours in crontab how to do it

i have set it like */30 */2 * * *
but its not working can any one helping me out thanks in advance

By "2.30 hours" do you mean two and a half hours? If so try

* */2.5 * * *
