Cron/at not working

Whenever I try to schedule anything with cron or at, almost nothing works. I tried doing '/bin/date /home/wynd/date.log' and that worked, so I decided to try something a little more complicated, so I did '/usr/local/bin/mpg123 /home/wynd/song.mp3' with at. Waited...nothing. Running atq showed the job was there. Tried with cron. Waited...nothing. Running crontab -l shows it's there. Why is one command not working with either program when another one does?
