Creating Shortcuts and such...

Hey everyone!!
I recently installed xchat but I dont see it in the K Menu/Panel...
And I have absolutely no clue on how to get it up and running because I'm a fairly
new user, And secondly because I dont know any path to where it is located.
If anyone could help me out I'd very much appreciate it!
Thanks,
Mike

Have you tried opening a terminal window and typing "xchat" ?

if you type

whereis xchat

you will get the route where the binary is located. As mentioned above you should try to type xchat which will get your program open :) You can create a Launcher in your Graphical Environment that executes "xchat" and you will get the program everytime you click on it.

Good luck :)
