So here is my situation: I have a radeon 7000 video card and I would like to get the video out working. Unfortunately it sounds like the card is automatically set for PAL video out, which does me no good (see forum http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...hreadid=242029).

Here lies the actual problem: in order to flash the video card and get it working I need a dos boot disk for my linux desktop. For this I have two choices, either make a floppy from the linux box (I don't know how to do this and was hoping for some help here), or make a boot CD from my winXP laptop (I also don't know how to do this).

Please Help!

Go have a look at www.bootdisk.com - they have downloadable images to make a floppy from.
Pick a release you like, and away you go.
