Create Live CD from standard HDD install?

Wondering if it is possible, and where would I look about going about it, to create a knoppix-like live cd by taking what is installed on my machine right now (well not right now exactly, but you get the point) and making it into a bootable ISO?

I will be creating a completely new install on fresh system. I want this environment (with knoppix-like hardware detection and auto-setup) to be duplicated on a live CD.

Any help would be bonza ... er ... really appreciated.

I got the idea from the latest Linux Format Magazine, the build your own distro one.

Google around for knoppix forums. One that I frequent has several pages of threads devoted to that issue.

What is the url for the Knoppix forum you frequent, mjolnir?

If they ever get their webpage back alive ...
Thanks for that tip tizzef.
