Hey all, i am authenticating with a mysql database, i have the database all configured correct. I start the pop3d server and it tries to authenticate but i get a "login failed" error message.



I can login to mysql database as the user i setup through authmysqlrc, and i made sure the fields are correct.

Also, these are the processes i have:


IMAP/libexec/authlib/authdaemond.mysql start
root 4637 0.0 0.1 1624 524 ? S 12:21 0:00 /usr/local/courier-IMAP/libexec/couriertcpd -address=39.31.37.0 -stderrlogg
root 4639 0.0 0.0 1500 440 ? S 12:21 0:00 /usr/local/courier-IMAP/sbin/courierlogger pop3d





I also want to know how to point pop logs to other file than maillog, i know you do this in syslog.conf but dont know how.




Any help is GREATLY appreciated

Anything particular in your logs in why its failing? My first assumption would be a misconfigure or something along those lines.
